LoungePair Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
"Gift Card" refers to a prepaid digital card purchased through LoungePair that can be redeemed for airport lounge access passes.
"LoungePair" refers to LoungePair, Inc. and its associated website and services.
"Purchaser" refers to the individual who purchases a Gift Card.
"Recipient" refers to the individual who receives and redeems a Gift Card.
"Gift Card Link" refers to the unique URL where the Purchaser is redirected after purchasing the Gift Card. This is the same URL as sent via email to the Purchaser.
“Gift Card Transfer” refers to the process where the Purchaser initiates a transfer of the Gift Card to the Recipient, including cancellation and non-acceptance by the Recipient.
2. Purchase and Delivery
2.1 Gift Cards are available from time to time for purchase through LoungePair websites and affiliated platforms operated by LoungePair, including publicly listed and privately shared gift card pages.
2.2 Gift Cards are available in various denominations and currencies as displayed at the time of purchase.
2.3 Gift Cards can only be purchased when the Purchaser is logged-in to their LoungePair account.
2.4 Upon purchase, Gift Cards will be delivered electronically to the account of the Purchaser. The Gift Card can be subsequently transferred to the Recipient via the Purchaser’s LoungePair account, or on the unique Gift Card Link.
2.5 If an email address for the Recipient is specified by the Purchaser during purchase and the Recipient has a LoungePair account, the Gift Card Transfer will immediately initiate to the Recipient after payment.
2.6 The Recipient must accept the transfer by creating a new account or logging-in to their existing LoungePair account for the transfer to complete.
2.7 The Purchaser can revoke the Gift Card Transfer up until the Recipient has claimed the Gift Card.
2.8 The Gift Card Link is a cryptographically unique but unauthenticated publicly-accessible URL. Anyone with the Gift Card Link can claim the Gift Card if the Gift Card Transfer has not yet been initiated.
2.10 Purchased Gift Cards can be viewed and managed in your LoungePair account under the "Gift Cards" section.
3. Validity Period
3.1 Gift Cards are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
3.2 Any unused balance remaining after the expiry date will be forfeited and cannot be recovered, extended, or refunded.
3.3 It is the responsibility of the Recipient to use the Gift Card before the expiry date.
4. Redemption
4.1 Gift Cards may be redeemed for the purchase of lounge passes at any of the airport lounges available through the LoungePair platform.
4.2 Gift Cards can only be redeemed online through LoungePair websites and cannot be used for direct lounge entry or walk-up purchases at lounges.
4.3 To redeem a Gift Card, the Recipient must be logged in to their LoungePair account. The Gift Card balance will be available at checkout.
4.4 If the cost of a lounge pass exceeds the Gift Card balance, the Recipient may pay the remaining amount using another accepted payment method.
4.5 If the Gift Card value exceeds the purchase amount, the remaining balance will be retained for future use until the expiry date.
4.6 Only one Gift Card may be used per checkout transaction. If multiple Gift Cards are available on the Recipient’s account, they can select which one to draw the balance from.
5. Transfer
5.1 Gift Cards may only be transferred from the Purchaser to the Recipient.
5.2 Once the Gift Card Transfer is accepted by the Recipient, the Gift Card will be removed from the Purchaser’s LoungePair account and added to the Recipient's account, and cannot be returned or transferred again.
6. Refunds and Returns
6.1 Gift Cards are non-refundable. Once purchased, the value of a Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash or credited back to the original payment method.
6.2 Gift Cards cannot be returned or resold.
6.3 Lounge passes purchased using Gift Card credit are subject to LoungePair's standard cancellation and refund policies as set out in our Terms of Use. Any refunds will be credited back to the Gift Card balance.
7. Restrictions
7.1 Gift Cards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7.2 Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
7.3 LoungePair reserves the right to refuse or cancel Gift Card orders that appear to be fraudulent, obtained through unauthorised means, or in violation of these terms.
8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Gift Cards
8.1 Gift Cards are treated like cash. LoungePair is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use of Gift Cards.
8.2 LoungePair will not replace lost or stolen Gift Cards.
8.3 Protect your Gift Card code as you would cash.
9. Liability
9.1 LoungePair makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding Gift Cards except as required by applicable law.
9.2 LoungePair's liability in connection with Gift Cards shall not exceed the face value of the Gift Card.
9.3 LoungePair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Gift Cards.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1 LoungePair reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to Gift Cards purchased after the effective date of the changes.
10.2 Continued use of Gift Cards after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
11.2 Any disputes arising from or relating to Gift Cards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Unites States.
