Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), commonly known as Delhi Airport, is the primary airport serving Delhi and the surrounding National Capital Region.

The airport is located in Palam, approximately 16 kilometers (10 miles) from central New Delhi. It has 3 passenger terminals, although terminal operations may change during redevelopment or maintenance work.

Terminal 1 primarily handles domestic flights, while Terminal 3 serves both domestic and international departures. Terminal 3 also offers the largest selection of Delhi Airport lounges, including airline lounges, credit card lounges, paid-access lounges, and premium facilities for eligible first and business class passengers.

Opened in February 2026, the new Air India Maharajah Lounge spans 16,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate nearly 300 guests. It features a ‘Business Class’ and an exclusive ‘First Class’ section called ‘Air India First’.

• Location: Located above the duty-free zone, on the upper (mezzanine) floor of the international departure pier at Terminal 3
