Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) Lounges

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), is often regarded as one of the world’s finest aviation hubs. First opened in 1998, it is located on the island of Chek Lap Kok in western Hong Kong, and is thus also referred to as Chek Lap Kok International Airport, to distinguish it from its predecessor, the former Kai Tak Airport, which is now defunct.

HKG is connected to over 200 destinations across six continents, is one of the world’s busiest passenger airports, and as of 2024, was ranked the world’s busiest cargo airport by ACI World (Airports Council International).

There are a staggering 18 lounges at Hong Kong International Airport.

This comprehensive guide will provide all the need-to-know information regarding their locations, pricing, access methods, and features to help you make an informed decision about which lounge best suits your needs, preferences and budget.

Cathay Pacific Lounge-The Pier (Business Class)

The Pier (Business) is Cathay Pacific’s largest lounge worldwide, spanning over 3,300 square meters and accomodating up to 550 guests.
