Lounge Location

Located within Terminal 4's secure area, the Air India Maharaja Lounge is positioned on Level 4, adjacent to Gate 5. After passing through security in Terminal 4, descend the escalator to the main concourse, turn left, and proceed according to the signs directing you towards gates A2-21.

Keep in mind, JFK's terminals are not interconnected on the airside, meaning this lounge is best suited for those departing from the same terminal.

Lounge Opening Hours

The Air India Maharaja Lounge is open every day from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and you can stay for up to 3 hours. If you want to stay longer, there will be an extra charge. Lounge access may be restricted due to lounge capacity constraints and the lounge has the right to reserve seating, as necessary.

In November 2022, the Primeclass Lounge made its debut in Terminal 4, adjacent to Gate A2. This came as a relief for passengers during peak hours when the Air India lounge can tend to get overcrowded. This is an alternative lounge to consider if the Air India Maharaja Lounge is not for you.

How to Access the Air India Maharaja Lounge at JFK

There are a range of options for gaining access to the Air India Maharaja Lounge. All are for a three-hour visit unless otherwise specified:
