Our airport maps

LoungePair publishes small map images showing where an airport lounge sits inside its terminal. This page explains where the map data comes from and what you may do with the images.

Where the data comes from

The gates and the terminal building outlines come from OpenStreetMap, used under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). The lounge position, the walking times and distances, and the terminal names are LoungePair’s own.

Every image carries this credit, drawn into the picture itself:

What we changed

The licence asks us to publish the changes we have made to the OpenStreetMap data our images are drawn from. That file is here:

https://is.loungepair.com/maps/openstreetmap-alterations.json

It lists every OpenStreetMap element we have altered, with OpenStreetMap’s value beside ours, and publishes the queries that select everything else.

The OpenStreetMap data itself remains available from OpenStreetMap under the ODbL, whatever our terms below say about our images.

Using these images

You may display these images as published, unaltered, to show where a lounge is.

You may not:

• alter, crop or overlay them

• remove or obscure the credit line or the LoungePair mark

• use them in a way that implies LoungePair endorses a product or business

We may change or withdraw an image, and we may withdraw this permission for future use. Images already published stay as they are.

A guide, not a navigation aid

Distances are measured in a straight line, terminal layouts change, and a gate can move at short notice. Always follow the airport’s signs and your boarding pass.
