About this lounge

Sala VIP Miró (sometimes called the Sala VIP Joan Miró lounge) is a large, multi-section lounge in Terminal 1's Non-Schengen departures area. It's divided into distinct zones by blue glass partitions that separate the main seating areas from a quiet room, a relaxation area with chaise lounges, a children's room, and meeting rooms.

The self-service buffet runs throughout the day, with options such as pastries, salads, soups, fresh fruit, yogurt, and ice cream cups. Drinks are available from two bar counters: one for beer and wine, a second for spirits and sparkling wine. Nespresso-style coffee machines and bottled soft drinks are available across the lounge.

A mother's room and showers facilities with optional shower packs are also available, making this one of the more fully equipped airport lounges in Barcelona. Note that there can be a waiting list for the showers at peak times, so we recommend informing staff as soon as you arrive at the lounge if you'd like to use a shower.

: If you have any issues or concerns during your lounge visit and don't want to proceed with using the lounge after checking in, please approach the reception staff to raise your concerns. If you haven't yet used any of the lounge facilities, these staff may be able to request for your lounge pass redemption to be reversed. Otherwise, your pass will be considered used and is no longer eligible for a refund.
