About this lounge

An alternative to a traditional airport lounge, a Sphere Lounge pass could be ideal for travelers wanting a meal, drinks and a shower before entering the airside area - or after arriving at KLIA Terminal 1.

This pass entitles you to 2 tapas plates and 3 drinks (soft drinks, hot drinks or beer) from an exclusive menu at your choice of either the Sphere lobby bar or the neighbouring Traveller's Bar & Grill restaurant - both located near the reception desks at the Sama-Sama airport hotel. Tapas options include things like satay sticks, grilled lamb shoulder, burgers, and chicken wings, with vegetarian choices also available. Additional food & drinks are available but are subject to additional payment.

You also get access to showers, located on the lower level of the hotel within the gym & spa area. Towels are provided.

The Sphere lobby bar has a casual atmosphere with comfortable seating and sometimes live music, while Traveller's Bar & Grill has a sit-down dining area and a sports bar. Wi-Fi and flight information screens are available, and a complimentary buggy service is available to transport you between Terminal 1 and the hotel.

No complimentary entry is available for children. A pass must be purchased for each child, regardless of age.

: On rare occasions, lounges may reach capacity. We guarantee your pass can be used during lounge opening hours, so if you encounter any capacity issues, please contact our support team for assistance.
: If you have any issues or concerns during your lounge visit and don't want to proceed with using the lounge after checking in, please approach the reception staff to raise your concerns. If you haven't yet used any of the lounge facilities, these staff may be able to request for your lounge pass redemption to be reversed. Otherwise, your pass will be considered used and is no longer eligible for a refund.
