About this lounge

The split-level layout across two floors gives this modern lounge, which opened in April 2026 in the new Terminal 1 Pier, more breathing room than most airport spaces.

The light-filled lower level is inspired by "Munich by Day", with a buffet, coffee machines and restaurant-style seating offering excellent views of the airfield - and even the Alps in the distance when the weather is good. The lower level reflects "Munich by Night", and offers a more quiet place to relax with a meditation/prayer room, napping area, reading area and a staffed bar serving alcoholic beverages. There are also two small soundproof booths for taking phone calls in private.

The self-service buffet offers hot and cold food according to the time of day. Options may include German breads, pretzels, cold cuts, cheeses, salads, yoghurt and fruit, plus rotating hot dishes including local Bavarian specialities.

The lounge is equipped with showers. These are subject to availability, so we'd recommend informing staff on arrival if you'd like to reserve a shower slot. A dedicated children's play area is also provided.

Lounge entry is only permitted within the time period covered by your pass, counted back from your scheduled flight departure time, in accordance with the lounge's entry rules.

Yes. Unaccompanied minors are not generally permitted to enter airport lounges. Group bookings made without prior confirmation may be subject to lounge approval on the day, and our refund policy applies to those passes.

On rare occasions, lounges may reach capacity. We guarantee your pass can be used during lounge opening hours, so if you encounter any capacity issues, please contact our support team for assistance.

If you have any issues or concerns during your lounge visit and don't want to proceed with using the lounge after checking in, please approach the reception staff to raise your concerns. If you haven't yet used any of the lounge facilities, these staff may be able to request for your lounge pass redemption to be reversed. Otherwise, your pass will be considered used and is no longer eligible for a refund.

No. A lounge pass entitles you to enter the lounge up to the maximum stay duration, but you aren't entitled to a partial refund if you choose to stay for less time.
