LoungePair Wallet Terms

Effective: 8 September 2026

These Wallet Terms form part of, and should be read together with, the LoungePair General Terms of Use and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the General Terms of Use.

1. Wallets on Your LoungePair Account

Your LoungePair account may include one or more Wallets — separate stored balance containers used for different purposes. The Wallets currently supported are:

  • Primary Wallet — the main wallet on your account, used to hold cash credit (from top-ups and refunds we have issued to your wallet) and bonus credit (credit we have granted you free of charge). Subject to these Wallet Terms.

  • Gift Card Wallets — separate stored balances created when you receive a Gift Card. Each Gift Card you hold is recorded as its own Gift Card Wallet on your account. Gift Card Wallets are subject to the Gift Card Terms and Conditions, with these Wallet Terms applying as default rules where the Gift Card Terms are silent.

  • Other Wallets — LoungePair may add new Wallet types from time to time (for example, tenant-specific wallets, partner wallets, or family wallets). Each new Wallet type will be governed by these Wallet Terms unless additional Specific Terms apply, in which case those additional Specific Terms prevail for that Wallet type.

Where these Wallet Terms refer to “your wallet” or “your Wallet” without specifying a Wallet type, the reference is to all Wallets on your account collectively. Where a rule applies to only one type of Wallet, that Wallet is named expressly.

A Wallet is not a bank account, payment account, or e-money account. It is a prepaid balance that may only be redeemed for LoungePair products in accordance with these Terms.

2. Top-Ups (Primary Wallet)

Top-ups apply to your Primary Wallet only. Gift Card Wallets and other Wallets cannot be topped up by you directly — Gift Card Wallets are funded by the purchase of a Gift Card under the Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

  • 2.1. You can top up your Primary Wallet using any payment method we accept at the time of top-up.

  • 2.2. Top-up amounts and currencies are as displayed at the time of top-up. We may set minimum and maximum top-up amounts, and may change them at any time.

  • 2.3. Cash credit added by top-up does not expire, except where required to do so by applicable law (for example, dormancy rules in your jurisdiction). See section 7 for dormancy.

  • 2.4. Top-ups are non-refundable to your original payment method except as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy or as required by the consumer protection law of your country of residence.

3. Bonus Credit

  • 3.1. Bonus credit may be granted by LoungePair at our discretion — for example, as a promotional incentive, a referral reward, a retention offer, or as part of an alternative resolution offered by our support team in place of a cash refund. Bonus credit is granted to your Primary Wallet unless we tell you otherwise at the time of grant.

  • 3.2. Each bonus credit may have its own terms set at the time of grant, including (a) an expiry date, (b) products it can or cannot be applied to, and (c) caps on the amount that can be redeemed in a single transaction or in a calendar year.

  • 3.3. Bonus credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be withdrawn or refunded to any payment method.

  • 3.4. We may revoke bonus credit at any time where (a) it was granted in error, (b) it was obtained by fraud, abuse of a promotion, or other breach of these Terms, (c) the underlying purchase that earned it has been refunded other than to wallet, or (d) you initiate a chargeback we reasonably consider unjustified (see section 13 of the General Terms of Use).

4. Spending — Choosing a Wallet

When you make a purchase that can be funded from a Wallet, you may select which of your Wallets to draw from at checkout, subject to the rules below:

  • 4.1. Within a single Wallet, all credit forms one balance. We draw it down in the following order, unless we tell you otherwise at the time of purchase or at the time we grant the credit:

    • credit that has an expiry date is used first, starting with the credit that expires soonest;

    • then credit that has no expiry date.

  • Whether credit is bonus credit or cash credit does not set its place in this order. Bonus credit usually carries an expiry date, so it is usually used first.

  • 4.2. Across multiple Wallets, you may select which Wallet or Wallets to use for a given purchase. Where checkout allows, a single purchase may draw on more than one Wallet.

  • 4.3. Restrictions: some Wallets, including Gift Card Wallets, may have product restrictions on what they can be redeemed for. See the relevant Specific Terms (for Gift Card Wallets, the Gift Card Terms and Conditions).

  • 4.4. Shortfall: if the selected Wallet does not have enough credit to cover a purchase, you can pay the balance using another payment method we accept at checkout, or select a different Wallet.

5. Refunds Returning to a Wallet

When a purchase is refunded under the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the refund destination follows section 1 of that Policy. Where the Refund Policy directs a refund to a Wallet:

  • 5.1. A refund is returned to the Wallet that funded the purchase. If a purchase drew on more than one Wallet, each amount is returned to the Wallet it came from. For example, if you paid for a lounge pass with credit from Gift Card Wallet X, an eligible refund is returned to Gift Card Wallet X.

  • 5.2. A refund does not extend the expiry date of a Gift Card. Credit returned to a Gift Card Wallet keeps the original expiry date of that Gift Card. If that date has passed, the balance is no longer available and the refund cannot be returned to it.

  • 5.3. Where the original Wallet has expired or been closed, the refund destination follows the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the relevant Specific Terms for that Wallet type.

  • 5.4. The bonus portion of any refund is returned to the same Wallet as bonus credit, on the same expiry and use terms that originally applied.

Where the Refund Policy directs a refund to your original payment method (for example, for an unused FlexiPass or for a denied-access cash refund), the refund is issued to that payment method instead.

6. Withdrawals

A Wallet is intended for use within LoungePair. We do not, as a general matter, support withdrawals of cash credit back to a payment method.

You may, however, request that we refund cash credit from your Primary Wallet to your original payment method where:

  • 6.1. Required by the consumer protection law of your country of residence; or

  • 6.2. The cash credit was created by a refund under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and you have a right under that Policy to receive that refund to original payment method.

To request a withdrawal, contact us at support@loungepair.com.

Bonus credit is never withdrawable. Gift Card Wallet balances are not withdrawable except as provided in the Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

7. Account Closure and Dormancy

  • 7.1. If you choose to close your LoungePair account, contact us at support@loungepair.com. We will refund any cash credit in your Primary Wallet to your original payment method, where reasonably possible. Bonus credit is forfeited on account closure. Gift Card Wallet balances are handled in accordance with the Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

  • 7.2. If your account is inactive for an extended period (no logins or transactions), we may treat your Wallets as dormant and contact you. Where applicable law sets dormancy rules for stored value, we will follow them.

  • 7.3. If we suspend or terminate your account under section 2 of the General Terms of Use, or recover amounts under section 13 of the General Terms of Use (Chargebacks and Payment Disputes), cash credit will be returned to you only to the extent it is not the subject of, or required to satisfy, the underlying issue. Bonus credit will be forfeited.

8. Transferability

Wallets are personal to your LoungePair account. Wallet balances cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, gifted, or used as collateral, except where expressly provided for in the Specific Terms applicable to a particular Wallet type (for example, the transfer of a Gift Card before it has been claimed, under the Gift Card Terms and Conditions).

Wallets within a single account cannot be merged, except where we offer a currency conversion facility that lets you move a balance between Wallets held in different currencies. Any such conversion is made at the rate and on the terms shown to you at the time. This facility does not apply to Gift Card Wallets, which remain subject to the Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

9. Tax

A Wallet top-up does not represent a taxable supply at the time of top-up; tax (if any) is applied when Wallet credit is used to purchase a LoungePair product, in accordance with the rules of your jurisdiction. We may issue tax invoices for completed purchases on request.

10. Promotional Bonuses — Specific Terms

Where we run a specific promotional offer that grants bonus credit (for example, “top up $100, get $10 bonus”), the offer terms communicated at the time of the promotion form part of these Wallet Terms. Where those offer terms conflict with these Wallet Terms, the offer terms prevail for that promotion.

11. Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Wallet Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Wallet Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this document indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be communicated as described in section 1 of the General Terms of Use.
