LoungePair Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Effective: 8 September 2026 (supersedes the prior undated version)

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions form part of, and should be read together with, the LoungePair General Terms of Use and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the General Terms of Use.

1. Definitions

“Gift Card” refers to a prepaid digital card purchased through LoungePair that can be redeemed for airport lounge access passes.

“LoungePair” (and “we”, “us”, or “our”) means the LoungePair group entity that contracts with you for a particular purchase, as identified at checkout and on your purchase confirmation, together with its associated website and services.

“Purchaser” refers to the individual who purchases a Gift Card.

“Recipient” refers to the individual who receives and redeems a Gift Card.

“Gift Card Link” refers to the unique URL where the Purchaser is redirected after purchasing the Gift Card. This is the same URL as sent via email to the Purchaser.

“Gift Card Transfer” refers to the process where the Purchaser initiates a transfer of the Gift Card to the Recipient, including cancellation and non-acceptance by the Recipient.

2. Purchase and Delivery

  • 2.1. Gift Cards are available from time to time for purchase through LoungePair websites and affiliated platforms operated by LoungePair, including publicly listed and privately shared gift card pages.

  • 2.2. Gift Cards are available in various denominations and currencies as displayed at the time of purchase.

  • 2.3. Gift Cards can only be purchased when the Purchaser is logged in to their LoungePair account.

  • 2.4. Upon purchase, Gift Cards will be delivered electronically to the account of the Purchaser. The Gift Card can be subsequently transferred to the Recipient via the Purchaser’s LoungePair account, or via the unique Gift Card Link.

  • 2.5. If an email address for the Recipient is specified by the Purchaser during purchase and the Recipient has a LoungePair account, the Gift Card Transfer will immediately initiate to the Recipient after payment.

  • 2.6. The Recipient must accept the transfer by creating a new account or logging in to their existing LoungePair account for the transfer to complete.

  • 2.7. The Purchaser can revoke the Gift Card Transfer up until the Recipient has claimed the Gift Card.

  • 2.8. The Gift Card Link is a cryptographically unique but unauthenticated publicly-accessible URL. Anyone with the Gift Card Link can claim the Gift Card if the Gift Card Transfer has not yet been initiated.

  • 2.9. Gift Cards may not be resold or commercially exchanged. We may cancel any Gift Card we reasonably believe has been resold or distributed in breach of these Terms, or obtained by fraud.

  • 2.10. Purchased Gift Cards can be viewed and managed in your LoungePair account under the “Gift Cards” section. Each Gift Card you hold is recorded on your account as a separate “Gift Card Wallet” — a stored balance container governed by these Gift Card Terms, with the Wallet Terms applying as default rules where these Gift Card Terms are silent.

3. Validity Period

  • 3.1. Gift Cards are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase and shown on the Gift Card. This is at least one (1) year from the date of purchase, or longer where the law of the place of purchase requires a longer period.

  • 3.2. Any unused balance remaining after the expiry date will be forfeited and cannot be recovered, extended, or refunded, except as required by applicable consumer protection law.

  • 3.3. It is the responsibility of the Recipient to use the Gift Card before the expiry date.

4. Redemption

  • 4.1. Gift Cards may be redeemed for the purchase of lounge passes at any of the airport lounges available through the LoungePair platform.

  • 4.2. Gift Cards can only be redeemed online through LoungePair websites and cannot be used for direct lounge entry or walk-up purchases at lounges.

  • 4.3. To redeem a Gift Card, the Recipient must be logged in to their LoungePair account. The Gift Card balance will be available at checkout.

  • 4.4. If the cost of a lounge pass exceeds the Gift Card balance, the Recipient may pay the remaining amount using another accepted payment method, including wallet credit. The detailed rules for wallet credit are in the Wallet Terms.

  • 4.5. If the Gift Card value exceeds the purchase amount, the remaining balance will be retained on the Gift Card for future use until the expiry date.

  • 4.6. Only one Gift Card may be used per checkout transaction. If multiple Gift Cards are available on the Recipient’s account, they can select which one to draw the balance from.

  • 4.7. Gift Card Wallets are tracked separately from your Primary Wallet and from each other. Balances are not pooled or transferred between Wallets, and a Gift Card is not a Primary Wallet top-up. Redeeming a Gift Card draws only on the selected Gift Card Wallet.

5. Transfer

  • 5.1. Gift Cards may only be transferred from the Purchaser to the Recipient.

  • 5.2. Once the Gift Card Transfer is accepted by the Recipient, the Gift Card will be removed from the Purchaser’s LoungePair account and added to the Recipient’s account, and cannot be returned or transferred again.

6. Refunds and Returns

  • 6.1. Gift Cards are non-refundable. Once purchased, the value of a Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash or credited back to the original payment method, except as required by applicable consumer protection law.

  • 6.2. Gift Cards cannot be returned or resold.

  • 6.3. Lounge passes purchased using Gift Card credit are subject to LoungePair’s standard cancellation and refund rules as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Where a refund is due, it will be credited back to the Gift Card balance from which it was drawn, subject to the original Gift Card expiry date. If that Gift Card has since expired, the refund is forfeited unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

7. Restrictions

  • 7.1. Gift Cards have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • 7.2. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards or to top up a wallet.

  • 7.3. LoungePair reserves the right to refuse or cancel Gift Card orders that appear to be fraudulent, obtained through unauthorized means, or in violation of these Terms.

  • 7.4. Where LoungePair is entitled to recover amounts from you under section 13 of the General Terms of Use (Chargebacks and Payment Disputes), we may set off those amounts against any Gift Card balance held in your LoungePair account.

8. Keeping Your Gift Card Secure

  • 8.1. Gift Cards are held in your LoungePair account. Anyone who can access the email address linked to your account, or who has the Gift Card Link before it has been claimed, may be able to access or claim the Gift Card. Protect access to your email account and your LoungePair login, and share a Gift Card Link only with the intended Recipient.

  • 8.2. A Gift Card Transfer sent to the wrong email address can be claimed by whoever controls that address, unless you revoke the transfer before it is claimed (see section 2.7). Check the Recipient’s email address carefully before sending.

  • 8.3. LoungePair is not responsible for loss arising from unauthorized access to your email account or LoungePair account, or from a transfer sent to an incorrect address, and will not replace Gift Cards claimed by an unintended recipient in those circumstances.

9. Liability

  • 9.1. LoungePair makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding Gift Cards except as required by applicable law.

  • 9.2. LoungePair’s liability in connection with Gift Cards shall not exceed the face value of the Gift Card.

  • 9.3. LoungePair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Gift Cards.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Gift Card Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract.

11. Changes to Terms

  • 11.1. LoungePair reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to Gift Cards purchased after the effective date of the changes.

  • 11.2. Continued use of Gift Cards after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

  • 12.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by, and any disputes arising in connection with them are resolved in accordance with, the governing law and dispute resolution provisions in section 14 of the LoungePair General Terms of Use.

  • 12.2. Nothing in this section limits your rights under any consumer protection law that applies to you and cannot be excluded by contract.
